For years, Eddie and Lunchbox have been the butt of the 401K joke on The Bobby Bones Show.
Although it's not really a joke, neither one of them have 401Ks set up for retirement, or a saving/investing plan for that matter. Both guys are in their 40s with several kids, so many of our listeners and fellow show members have experienced genuine concern that they're not doing any financial future planning.
Bobby shared a segment on the show about how much money each person should have saved by the time they're at a certain age. Eddie and Lunchbox collectively admitted they are not at the price range the financial study suggested they should be at for their age. That's when Abby shared a suggestion, her boyfriend. He is a financial planner and willing to help out both of the guys with getting things back on track.
Both were very hesitant to even consider, with Lunchbox saying a definite no. He didn't want Abby's boyfriend looking at HIS money and HIS things. Eddie came around after Bobby said he should consider even a first meeting, so he is thinking of setting one up in the next week. However, then both started to say no again when Abby wouldn't answer if her boyfriend is a millionaire, they both agreed that their financial planner should be someone they look up to financially.
