Her name is Nadia Popovici, a Seattle fan sitting behind the Canucks' bench spotted a concerning mole on Brian "Red" Hamilton, one of the team's equipment managers.
She waved him over after the game to show him a message through the glass she'd typed on her phone to please get the mole checked as it may be cancerous, and it turns out her instincts were right!
Thanks to her early warning, Hamilton was able to get the mole examined and promptly removed after confirming it was indeed cancerous. As a reward for her help, both teams have put $10,000 towards her medical school expenses.
