My Thoughts On Ralphie May's Death

What a complete shit week!!  There's no other way to say it.  So many lives lost in Las Vegas, that ones going to haunt me for a long time.

Then comes the news of Tom Petty passing away, which resulted in me listening to Petty's  "Damn The Torpedoes" album over and over the next 3 days.

The finale slap in the face came today with the news that comedian Ralphie May died at 45.  It's a strange thing when a comedian you admire passes away.  Like a little more laughter has disappeared forever.

I've always thought Ralphie was not only very talented in the way he would write, but his whole character was made for the stage.  I guess this one bothers me so much because I had personal interactions with Ralphie several times over the years.  He was always very humble, engaging and never met a stranger.

I thought he was really on a roll lately with his comedy, it had become very human, natural and from a place of what seemed to be happiness.  You'll be missed Mr. May, RIP.

For those of you that have never had the chance to laugh with Ralphie, do yourself a favor and spend some time with the guy.  He's was a funny ass dude!!
