A new study has found that mosquitoes might be attracted to dark colors! Y'all, I wear black ALL the time, so if this study is accurate, it could explain why I'm almost always the one person in the group getting chomped by mosquitoes, while the people around me aren't getting touched!
The study found that from a distance, mosquitoes are attracted to plumes of carbon dioxide (the breath you exhale), but once they get closer, they see to be drawn to black, orange, and purple. They tend to ignore purples, greens, and white.
You can read more about the study HERE, and maybe we'll all start changing up our wardrobe choices in the late afternoon!
