Kenny Chesney in Tampa: Know before you go

We're SO excited that Kenny Chesney kicks off his Here and Now Tour in Tampa on Saturday, April 23rd! Here are a few things you need to know before you arrive:

PARKING:

  • 10:00 AM SOUTH PARKING LOTS OPEN
  • 2:00 PM NORTH PARKING LOTS OPEN
  • 4:00 PM GATES OPEN
  • 5:00 PM SHOW STARTS

Tailgating at country shows--and especially a Kenny show--is a BIG thing. People will be there all day, partying like they would before a football game. Drink water, wear sunscreen, and pace yourself...it's a long, hot day! There will be port-o-potties available in the parking lot, but no running water/proper bathrooms outside the venue.

There may be independently-owned lots that allow parking earlier, but these times are for the lots owned and run by the stadium. Rates for parking vary--but it's all expensive. Parking is by credit/debit card only. You can pre-pay, or pay onsite. There are several residential homes near the stadium that offer their driveways up for parking for a fee (those are NOT sanctioned by the tour or the stadium, park at your own risk). Parking info can be found HERE.

SET TIMES: (subject to change)

  • Carly Pearce, 5pm
  • Old Dominion, 5:45
  • Dan + Shay, 7:05
  • Kenny Chesney, 8:50

BAG POLICY:

Raymond James Stadium has a NO BAG POLICY. It used to be a clear bag policy, but it's recently changed. Guests can bring a small clutch style bag into the venue, no larger than 6.5 in X 4.5 inch, or roughly the size of your hand. Obviouly no weapons, outside food or drinks, chairs, etc. For the full bag policy, click HERE.

RIDE SHARE:

If you plan to use Uber/Lyft (which is a GREAT idea, and likely cheaper than parking...plus you don't have to worry about drinking too much), there is a ride share drop off/pick up area on Dale Mabry, north of the stadium, just south of the pedestrian bridge. Follow the signs. More info on that HERE.

We'll see you Saturday! Be safe and HAVE FUN!
