The "Edward Scissorhands" house is up for sale!

The Edward Scissorhands house in Lutz is up for sale!

In case you didn't know, the house where they filmed Edward Scissorhands is right here in Tampa Bay. The Lutz home was used for primary filming in spring of 1990, and it is once again for sale. The home was last sold in September 2020 for $230,000. It's current listing price is $699,000--wow!

The home retains the original wallpaper (used in the film!), and also comes with some screen-used props, like the scissors Edward used to trim the dinosaur hedge in the movie!

In case you were wondering, it's 1432 square feet, with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The home is currently functioning as a museum, offering tours and film screenings to fans. Whoever purchases it next could keep that up, or use it as a private residence.

The house looks a bit different today than it did in the film, due largely to the growth of trees in the area over the last 30+ years. But the personality of the home definitely shines through!

HERE is the listing if you want to check it out (there are lots of photos!).
