Oakdale Christmas House in St Pete opens this weekend!

Have you ever been to the Oakdale Christmas House in St Pete? Every year the Kresge family decorates their home and yard for the holidays, and their walk-thru display is open to the public, and free of charge!

Ted Kresge says the lights draw 1100 amps--the equivalent of six average houses!--and includes over 300,000 lights! Each year, the family adds something new, and it takes them about two months to get ready for the Christmas season.

The lights will flip on Friday, November 26th (Black Friday) if you want to check it out! The Kresges say it's a true labor of love, and they've been doing it for 45 years!
