Blake Shelton announced last week that he is opening a fourth Ole Red restaurant/bar...and this new location will be in Orlando! Blake already has locations in his hometown of Tishomingo, OK, plus Nashville and Gatlinburg, and now he's coming to the sunshine state.
It makes total sense. Blake's bar is definitely a draw for tourists and visitors, and Orlando is PACKED with tourists all year long!
Blake says the new location will be four floors (!!!), and have multiple bars--including a rooftop bar--as well as a full menu, stages for live performers, and a private event space. It will be in the Icon Orland 360 area, near the Orlando Eye, on or near International Drive, and should be open in 2020. Estimated costs for the new project are about $15 million.
In the past, when Blake has celebrated grand openings for his Ole Red locations, he's thrown huge parties with tons of celebrities (country stars) in attendance, so I'd assume the same will happen here. As soon as we hear about a grand opening party, we'll let you know! Can't wait to check it out!
