A suspected porch-pirate, who was caught on a home security camera stealing a package from a Kissimmee home's doorstep, was apparently so overcome with guilt that he returned to the house with the package and a written apology.
The homeowners were stunned to open their door and find the package on the floor along with the handwritten note which read, "I know no apologies could make up for what I did. I did not go to your house with the intentions to steal. I have never done anything like this in my life. I come from a good family and good morals and it’s eating me inside knowing what I did."
He added, "I really hope and pray to God that you can find it in your heart to forgive me." He went to explain that he had a few beers with a friend and was dared to swipe the packages.
The homeowners may forgive him for what he's done, but police are looking for him and want him to turn himself in.
