Goodbye Channelside Plaza, hello Sparkman Wharf. This is the $3 billion project that has been proposed to the Channelside district in downtown Tampa. The new space would include an open air courtyard with dining, shopping, large projectors to watch Lightning games and other sporting events, as well as an outdoor beer garden. The outdoor space is expected to open as early as October, while the rest of construction wouldn't be complete until late 2019.

What do you think?

We’re super pumped and proud to announce that we will be amongst one of the many amazing vendors at Tampa’s brand new outdoor waterfront space — @sparkmanwharf ! Opening this fall 2018. We can’t wait for you to visit! Stay tuned or check them out for more details! 🌊 . . . #sparkmanwharf #makewavestpa

A total reimagining of Channelside Bay Plaza, with live music, games, a lawn for lounging, a biergarten and bunches of dining options in art-covered shipping containers - we can hardly “contain” ourselves! We will be opening a brand-new space with ice pops, gelato, acai bowls and grilled cheese! Get excited everyone, because we certainly are! Feel a spark, too? Follow the excitement at @sparkmanwharf and visit! #sparkmanwharf #makewavestpa #icepopempire #goodstuffonastick
