I'm sure you've heard the phrase, "Fake it till you make it." And in case you didn't know, it's a real thing!
Researchers surveyed 2000 people at the top of their respective fields, and found that two-thirds of them actually HAD "faked it" when they didn't know how to do something! 66% of them say that at some point on the way up, they had to "fake it to make it."
But that didn't mean, like, lying on a resume or anything like that. The main thing they did was project CONFIDENCE, even when they weren't really sure what they were doing.
And the majority wore clothes that made them look more professional, which helped them get ahead in their careers.
And there you have it! Now go forth and fake it!
