A new survey has found that couples who have flashy weddings are more likely to get divorced!
Couples who spent more than $30,000 on their big day were more likely to worry about impressing their guests when compared to couples who spent under $10,000.
And as we all know, more money leads to more problems ... in this case, marriage problems.
I know couples who spent TONS of money on their wedding...and were still paying off those wedding credit cards after they were divorced. I know other couples who got married at the courthouse and are still going strong after many years together. I know my personal experience isn't exactly scientific, but it makes sense! If the wedding is more important than the marriage, that's no bueno!
