The ACMs will pay tribute to Route 91 Festival Victims

The ACM Awards are just a couple of weeks away and it will be the first ACM Awards since the devastating Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas last October. And, in case you missed it, host Reba McEntire says that the lives lost will certainly be remembered during the broadcast.

“That is a very critical and important thing to do. We do pay tribute. We pay honor to those who were victims of that shooting,” Reba tells "Billboard," “and then we remind everybody that we are Americans and we do not let that shut us down.”

She adds “We will go on, we will have a great time that night, and we’re going to have fun for them and remember them.”

The 53rd Annual ACM Awards airs April 15th on CBS at 8 pm, live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
