We've been trying to wrap our brains around this attack since we woke up this morning. A shooter opened fire on a music festival in Las Vegas last night, and so far the reports are showing at least 50 people were killed, and over 400 injured.
Days like today, it's really hard to come into the studio and be happy and have fun and try to put you in a good mood. That's what we typically try to do, but today, our hearts and minds are in Vegas. This just doesn't make sense. I can't even imagine what's going through the minds of the people who started their night by going to a concert, and ended their night literally running for their lives. And at least 50 didn't get to go home. That's 50 people with parents, siblings, best friends, and children whose lives will never be the same.
This is one of the many videos taken by concert-goers last night. You can hear gunshots, and see people lying on the ground, and people trying to run away. I'm not going to lie: This is hard to watch. In fact, if you've got kids in the room, don't play the video.
This is, by far, the scariest thing I've ever seen.
