Brooks & Dunn transported the crowd back to the 90s with an electrifying finale to the 2025 iHeartCountry Festival presented by Capital One. The annual event returned on Saturday night (May 3) to Moody Center in Austin, Texas.

The legendary duo, made up of Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn, ignited the stage with their irresistible, career-spanning hits during their highly-anticipated performance to close out the festival. Brooks & Dunn kicked off their set with “Brand New Man,” and turned the venue into one massive honky tonk as they continued with “Red Dirt Road,” “Ain’t Nothing ‘Bout You,” “Rock My World,” “Play Something Country,” “My Maria,” “Boot Scootin’ Boogie,” and they closed out the show with a patriotic tribute during “Only In America.”

Brooks & Dunn launched their award-winning career with their debut studio album, Brand New Man, in August 1991. Since then, the trailblazing artists have cemented their place in the genre and inspired the next generations of artists. They released their second REBOOT installment in late 2024, putting a fresh twist on previously-released songs by collaborating with other artists. The first REBOOT 2 anthem to release was “Play Something Country” with reigning Academy of Country Music Entertainer of the Year Lainey Wilson. The record also featured Jelly Roll, Megan Moroney, Morgan Wallen and HARDY, to name a few.

Other artists who joined the star-studded iHeartCountry Festival lineup as Rhett, Sam Hunt, Rascal Flatts, Cole Swindell, Nate Smith, Megan Moroney, Bailey Zimmerman, and special guest Dasha, who performed her viral TikTok anthem, “Austin,” in the Texas city of the same name. Festival goers also caught performances on the free Daytime Village stage before the man show, including Smith, Moroney, Matt Stell, Tucker Wetmore and Dasha in the lineup. iHeartCountry Festival viewers and listeners tuned into the show via Hulu, the Official Streaming Destination, and across 122 iHeartCountry stations nationwide and the free iHeartRadio app. It was all hosted by iHeartRadio’s Bobby Bones.
