Miami-Dade Commissioner Vote On Immigration Enforcement Resolution

Miami-Dade Commissioners are expected to pass a resolution authorizing ICE enforcement already signed by Mayor Daniella Levine Cava. Commissioner Roberto Gonzalez says it allows the county to get reimbursed by the federal government for something they're required to do under state law. He says the county shouldn't be footing the bill if this is required by the Federal government. He says the county needs the money as it faces a 400-million-dollar defecit. The action comes as activists gather at the Federal Detention Center in Miami as part of the #DisappearedInAmerica day to speak up and out for people they say have gone missing under the Trump Administration.
