Wearing a "I Read Banned Books" t-shirt, singer Pink announced live on Instagram that she will be giving away thousands of books at her two South Florida concert venues.

The 44-year-old singer is teaming up with PEN America and local bookstore, Books & Books, to give away a long list of books banned in Florida schools.

Parental complaints led to about 300 books being removed from Florida’s public-school libraries in the past year.

The pop star will give away the banned books at her concerts at the Kasaya Center in Miami today and the Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise Wednesday.

Florida has argued in court that the "Don't Say Gay" bill applies only to classroom materials.

Governor DeSantis said his administration is only trying to remove "inappropriate materials" from classrooms and that the media is perpetuating a "book-ban hoax."

"[Parents] have procedures where they can say, 'Wait a minute... that is pornographic. Why would we have that in a media center with 10-year-old students?'" DeSantis said.
