Bartow Ford and US103.5 Tampa Bay’s #1 for New Country is looking for THE BEST local high school band OR chorus’ performance of the National Anthem!
One school will be selected as the winner and will get to perform the National Anthem before Cole Swindell takes the stage on November 14th at the Concert on the Lot - PLUS receive a donation of $2,500.00 for their schools’ music department!
Think your high schools’ band or chorus has what it takes?! Post a video of your band or chorus performing the National Anthem and use the hashtag #AnthemOnTheLot so we can see it! Also, make sure you tag @US1035 and @BartowFord on any of the social platforms you post the video to, so we can make sure to see your submission!”
CONTEST GUIDELINES: Each video posted to social media with the hashtag #AnthemOnTheLot will be reviewed and a winner will be selected and contacted no later than October 9, 2026 directly by US103.5. When submitting for this contest, it is assumed you’re entering with the same group whom you submitted in your video as rehearsals will be expected and required before the actual November 14, 2026 event. All participants in video are expected to perform the same performance on November 14, 2026 for the National Anthem at the “Concert on the Lot” at Bartow Ford in Bartow, Florida, as seen in the video. Expectations of the National Anthem performance are to be respectful, courteous, and held to a high expectation. Only one video per school group is necessary to enter – but re-shares and re-posts can help for visibility to spread the word. Anyone entering (i.e. a student) on behalf of a school needs to have prior approval from school administrator/band or chorus director to avoid any conflicts. Please have that school administrator/band or chorus director’s contact information (name, phone number and email address) readily available if you are contacted as a finalist. All members in video must either be students or administrators from the specific school they are entering for. A day of timeline and expectations for November 14, 2026 will be discussed directly with winning school’s administrator, band or chorus director.
