Chris Stapleton unveiled a soulful new ballad that appeared on the soundtrack for the second season of Nobody Wants This.
Stapleton’s “Heart Letting Go” made its debut on Thursday (October 23). The star-studded soundtrack arrived on the same day as the season premiere on Netflix, which states that the show “follows the relationship of unlikely couple Joanne (Kristen Bell) and Noah (Adam Brody), an outspoken (and agnostic) podcaster and a kindhearted rabbi who fall in love despite the forces working against them. In Season 2, their relationship deepens as the duo attempts to blend their lives together.”
“It's hard to stay but leaving hurts/ And I'm not sure which one is the worst/ Because tonight I'll hold the love I used to know/ And listen to a heart letting go”
“Heart Letting Go” is the latest song to release from Stapleton since he delivered “Bad As I Used To Be,” which appeared on the F1 soundtrack. Stapleton’s latest full studio album is Higher, a 2023 record that included the title track, “White Horse,” “Think I’m in Love With You” and more. The genre-blending Nobody Wants This Season 2 soundtrack also features music by Selena Gomez, Teddy Swims, Kacey Musgraves, FINNEAS, Alessia Cara, Ella Langley, and other artists.
