The Cincinnati Reds (55-50) defeated the Tampa Bay Rays (53-52) 6-2 on Saturday night at Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati. With the win, the Rays have now dropped three in a row and their second straight series.
The Reds got two runs each in the sixth, seventh and eighth. The Rays offense came from a solo homer from Yandy Diaz in the sixth, and a pinch-hit RBI single from Josh Lowe in the seventh inning.
