Spectrum and Disney Reach Deal, ESPN Returns to Screens

NEW YORK -- If you have Spectrum as your cable company in North and Central Florida, ESPN and other Disney channels are coming back, just in time for Monday Night Football.

Disney and Spectrum's parent company, Charter Communications, have announced a multi-year distribution deal.

It includes Spectrum offering Disney's direct to consumer services to its customers at retail rates, even those who only buy broadband.

The deal comes in time for Monday Night Football's season opener tonight. Disney pulled its channels from Spectrum systems late last month, causing viewers in much of Florida to miss the U.S. Open.
