An outdoor production of the Broadway hit "Jersey Boys" is being cancelled, not due to the rising COVID cases but supply chain issues.
The Maltz Jupiter Theater had planned to stage several presentations of the musical at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium nearby next month.
But the theater's chief executive says delays on supplies, along with the growing costs of materials, labor shortages and engineering issues made it impossible.
Andrew Kato says he hopes to put on the production in the future.
He says ticket holders who purchased their tickets through the Maltz will receive a refund check, while those who purchased from Roger Dean will get refunds to the credit card used.
Kato is asking for patience, saying they are processing thousands of reimbursements.
He also says the rest of the scheduled shows at the Maltz Jupiter Theater are still on track to take the stage, beginning in February.
