ST. PETERSBURG and MIAMI -- Florida's two Major League Baseball teams have released their 2022 schedules.
The Marlins will open 2022 at home with a four game series against the Braves, and close it on the road against Milwaukee October 2nd.
In between they'll face the AL Central teams plus Tampa Bay twice, May 24 and 25 in St Pete and Aug 30-31 in Miami.
The Rays start the season in Boston. Their home opener is April 8th against the Orioles. The Rays will end 2022 on the road in Houston October 2nd.
All 30 clubs are scheduled to open their 2022 season on the same day, March 31st. It would be the first time that's happened since 1968.
