Boom By The Bay is BACK!

After being canceled in 2020, Boom By The Bay is BACK! Tampa will celebrate our nation's independence, starting on Sunday, July 4th with a boat parade at 5pm, followed by family-friendly activities and a fireworks show downtown! Here's the rundown:

July 4th Boat Parade & Blessing of the Fleet at 5pm on the Hillsborough River downtown (info HERE). Prizes will be awarded for the best-decorated boats, so don't hold back!

After the parade, family-friendly festivities will take place at multiple locations downtown (Riverfront Park, Armature Works, Tampa Convention Center, Sparkman Wharf, Curtis Hixon Park, Bayshore Blvd)

A fireworks show will start at approximately 9:15 at ALL of the previously listed locations! The fireworks will be synchronized, so you can choose the location that best suits you!

All of this is free and open to the public. Tickets/reservations are not required. There will be sanitation stations spread throughout each location.

At the 2019 event, over 200,000 people gathered to celebrate Boom By The Bay. This year, they're attempting to spread the crowd out, rather than cram everyone into one area.
