Manatee Habitat for Humanity was robbed. Help replace what was stolen!

This breaks my heart.

The public's help is needed after $11,000 worth of tools and equipment were stolen from a trailer belonging to the Manatee County Habitat For Humanity. Leaders of the non-profit say this happened last week after crews wrapped up for the day on a new Bradenton home they were building for a single mother of two. They were hoping to have the home ready by Christmas, but the non-profit says that likely won't happen.

Habitat is asking for donations to help buy new tools. You can do so by calling 941-748-9100 or clicking HERE

Here's an idea: do we have any trailer companies on the Suncoast who would be willing to donate new doors to the damaged trailer?

Habitat For Humanity is such a wonderful organization. Please consider donating if you are able. The link above has a list of tools that were taken, and you can either donate a dollar amount, or buy a direct replacement for the items that were stolen.

Thank you!
