(Seminole County, FL) -- The Seminole County school district says high school students have received more than eight million racist emails.

Officials say the spamming effort was blocked late Saturday night, but they were still trying to delete all of the messages. According to Newsweek, some messages included racial slurs, sexually explicit comments, and references to the George Floyd case.

Students at Hagerty High School and Crooms Academy also received emails with a video link reportedly showing a beheading. School officials say students should immediately delete any suspicious emails.
