Blake Shelton Drive-in Show

Following in the footsteps of Garth Brooks, Blake Shelton is doing a one-night-only drive-in show later this month, that will be broadcast at drive-in theaters across the US.

The show is scheduled for July 25th, and tickets go on sale next week. Concert-goers will enjoy a night under the stars, from the safety of their vehicles. Tickets are $114 per carload, and you can put up to 6 people in your vehicle.

I like the idea of these drive-in theater shows, but the price point seems high to me. Garth's was $100 per car; Blake's is $114...if you have 6 people, that's only $19 per person, but if there are only two of you, $60 for a glorified concert movie seems steep. Then again, it's not like we're spending money on concerts and date nights like we normally would, so maybe you have a couple extra dollars in your entertainment budget these days!

If you went to the Garth drive-in show a couple weeks back, I'd love to know about your experience. Did you enjoy it? Was it worth the price? Would you do it again? Hit me with your feedback in the comments!
