Good news, theme park lovers! There's been some news about when Florida's theme parks are set to reopen.
Disney wants to reopen Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom on July 11th, and EPCOT and Hollywood Studios on July 15th.
SeaWorld, Discovery Cove, Aquatica, and proposed reopening on June 11th.
This follows the reopening of Disney Springs, and the Universal City Walk earlier this month.
As for Tampa's parks, Hillsborough County is still awaiting plans from Busch Gardens and Adventure Island. Once those plans are approved by the county, they'll be sent to the Governor's office for approval (the same process happened in Orange County/Orlando).
When parks do reopen it will likely be done in phases, and additional health and safety measures will be in place, including required face coverings for all staff and guests, 6-foot spacing in queue lines, and temperature checks. More info at the links below.
