The last several weeks have been S T R E S S F U L for us all. Between many people working reduced hours or not working at all,--or being an essential worker with little to no time off-- being cooped up in the house, homeschooling your kids, and trying to keep from getting sick, chances are you've got a lot on your plate.
Experts suggest going for a run or walk.
According to mental health experts, when it comes to stress and anxiety, running/walking can be the best medicine. Running boosts endorphins – those feel-good hormones we can all use right now – and helps to clear your mind. It’s also free, and requires no special equipment. It allows for social distancing, it gets you outside and in the sun, which boosts your body's vitamin D production. Plus, exercise boosts your immunity, which is something we could all benefit from!
