How to apply for meal assistance while kids are out of school

Many families rely on free or reduced meals in the school cafeteria, but while schools are closed for at least two weeks because of Coronavirus, these families could be having trouble keeping their kids fed.

The Florida Department of Agriculture activated a website on Sunday that allows families in need to apply for meals for kids 18 and under while school is out. There are 934 locations statewide where meals can be picked up.
