Quick back story. Ray Donovan has been on Showtime since 2013.
I became obsessed with it over Thanksgiving break this past 2019.
By Christmas break I had binged 6 full seasons, while I might add doing EVERYTHING else in my life too.
I didn’t sleep that much, but this show was worth it!
I started watching season 7, which I end up doing in like 3 and half days, lol. I told you I was obsessed!
I finish it up and I’m like, “Bring on season 8!”
Then OUT OF THE BLUE Showtime cancels it. What? No last season? There’s to many unanswered questions.... who’s running that place? IDIOTS!!
I was pissed just like everyone else that loves Ray Donovan.
The good news just came out that, “Ray Donovan will get a chance to have a proper ending.”
The Liev Schreiber drama will either come back for a few final episodes or a movie to put all questions to bed.
I’m stoked!! No more details are out about how soon all of this will happen.
For those of us that have laughed, cried, and genuinely fallen in love with Ray Donovan, I’ll say this (and you have to imagine Liev Schreiber saying it in a Southie Boston accent)
