Last week, we learned about Motorworks Brewing in Bradenton teaming up with local shelters to use dogs’ photos on beer cans to help them get adopted and now we’re happy to report that a woman in Minnesota has been reunited with her lost dog thanks to those cans. It turns out, Day Day, one of the dogs featured on the cans, had a microchip when she came to the Manatee County Animal Services, but the information was out of date, so the shelter wasn't able to contact the owner about her dog.
Fortunately, she saw her pet that had been missing for three years on Facebook and was able to provide proof that Day Day was actually her dog, and now they've been reunited! It’s unclear how the pooch ended up in Florida, but the pup is now on her way back to her grateful owner in Minnesota! Yay!
