I'm not going to lie to you: When I heard there was a new Ghostbusters movie in the works, I was not happy.
Not only did I not think it would be any good, I actually kinda wanted it to be no good. That sounds horrible, I know, but I just love the original Ghostbusters movies so much, that the idea of tarnishing them made me want to punch things. It gets no better than Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, and Harold Ramis (RIP) fighting ghosts in New York City, in this girl's opinion.
But now, I may have to eat my words. Y'all, I just watched the trailer for Ghostbusters: Afterlife and it actually looks GOOD. It's got Paul Rudd, who I have had a very un-secret crush on since 1995 (the man doesn't age!), and Finn Wolfhard from Stranger Things. Ecto-1 made an appearance in the trailer, and I'm pretty sure we caught a glimpse of Slimer, too.
That's it. I'm excited. This looks good and I don't care who disagrees. I'll be seeing this when it comes out!
