There's a 38-year-old woman named Krystall from Clearwater. She and her boyfriend got into an argument on Friday morning, apparently because he was playing the TV loudly while she was trying to sleep. During their argument, Krystall took apart their artificial Christmas tree and threw three sections of it at her boyfriend.
He wound up with scratches and cuts on his face, neck, and stomach, and Krystall was arrested for domestic battery.
Now I know a Christmas tree can be used as a weapon! File that away for future use!
I read the arrest report, and this happened shortly after 6am. The woman and her boyfriend have 2 kids...my guess is, this isn't the first time she's asked him to keep the volume down so she can get some sleep, and she got tired of asking! Sleep-deprived people do crazy things!
