These are the airlines most likely to bump you!

Flying during the holiday season can be really stressful. The flights are expensive, the airports are crowded...and many flights are intentionally overbooked! USA Today took a look at each US airline and found which ones are most likely to "bump" passengers as the planes fill up.

Upgraded Points looked at how many involuntary denied boardings (bumps) happened per 100,000 people between the first half of 2018 to the first half of 2019.

Overall, the site found that American and Southwest both had the highest number of bumped passengers, but considering how many passengers they have, the percentages were actually pretty low. In reality, the airline most likely to bump a passenger is Frontier, which bumped 1,219 passengers, or 6-point-28 per 100,000 flyers.
