WWII veteran wants cards for his 100th birthday!

A World War II veteran in Texas is about to turn 100 and he’s asking for cards to help him celebrate the milestone. An image shared on Facebook by Brookdale Senior Living in Watauga shows the vet holding a poster that reads: “Hello! My name is James South and I am a proud World War II veteran! I will be turning 100 on October 7th, 2019. I would like to receive 100 birthday cards.”

James has always loved getting mail; his late wife, Sophie, wrote to him every single day he was serving with the Army overseas and he wants the cards to remind him of her. He plans to line the walls of his room with the cards and letters he receives.

Help James’ birthday wish come true by sending a card of letter to:

James South

5800 North Park Drive

Watauga, TX 76148

You know what to do! Make this veteran's birthday one to remember!
