Hi friends! You're invited to a discussion about country music on Thursday evening at the historic Tampa Theatre!
Bank of America and PBS are proud to present a FREE street party, film screening, and panel discussion in celebration of a new documentary series.
Country Music: A Film By Ken Burns will premiere on PBS on Sunday, September 15th. The event on Thursday the 12th is a preview of what's to come in that documentary. There will be live music, line dancing, and--of course--we'll all come together to talk about the history of country music on the stage of the beautiful Tampa Theatre in Downtown Tampa.
This event is free and open to the public. The street party starts at 5pm. Panel discussion will begin at 7pm and is moderated by me (!!!), featuring iHeartRadio's Meg Stevens (WUBL Atlanta), and songwriting duo the Warren Brothers, who have written hits for Tim McGraw, Blake Shelton, Dierks Bentley and many more--even if you don't recognize Brett and Brad Warren, you'll definitely know their work!
Following the panel discussion will be a preview of the Ken Burns docu-series Country Music.
I would love for you to join us at the Tampa Theatre on Thursday! I've never moderated a panel before, so if you could come and just say nice things to make me feel better, that would be great! ;) (I'm just kidding..unless you're gonna do it!)
