Employees of Slainte Public House near Lexington, Kentucky showed up for work at 8 a.m. and found 35-year-old Donna Martin enjoying a drink. She had apparently broken into the bar in the early morning hours and helped herself to bourbon until employees arrived.
The local jail, as it turns out, is open 24 hours a day. Martin was sent there on burglary and public intoxication charges.
The bar's employees said, “Well, she has good taste. She picked the best bar in the country, and like every Kentucky girl, she knows how to pick a good bourbon.”
