When's the last time someone randomly paid you a compliment? When did you last compliment someone else?
According to a new survey, people don't receive nearly as many compliments as they used to (I personally think that in this age of everyone being scared to get sued for sexual harassment, people are less likely to compliment one another for fear the compliments will be misinterpreted...just my 2 cents), and 40% of people wish they would be complimented more.
The survey also found that the average person says their significant other stopped complimenting them at about the 6 month mark! Oh no! You gotta step it up, y'all!
The compliments people want to hear most are "You make me laugh," "You look young," and "I like your haircut."
EASY! If someone is funny, tell them! If someone has cool shoes, tell them! If someone is killin' it at work, TELL THEM! A quick compliment can really make someone feel fantastic, and it costs you nothing!
