Traveling like a country music superstar doesn't always require a passport. In fact, Carrie Underwood says many of her favorite places are right here in the USA!. Carrie recently shared her five favorite domestic destinations with People.
Coming in at number-one is the country star's hometown, Checotah, Oklahoma. "Home is home," she says. At number-two is America's current "it city," Nashville, while number-three is the dream destination of many wine drinkers, Napa, California. Carrie chose Phoenix, Arizona for her number-four spot because she enjoys hiking and it allows her to press "reset." And at number-five is sunshiney Los Angeles, where it's easier for the vegetarian to eat beautiful and healthy meals.
I'm actually trying to plan a trip with my husband to Napa/wine country in California... now I can pretend I'm Carrie Underwood (just a lot less pretty and on a much tighter budget)!
