"New Coke" is making a comeback

You may not remember/know this, but back in the '80s, Coke introduced something called “New Coke” and it was widely regarded as a disaster.

New Coke was rolled out in 1985 … and lasted just 79 days before it was pulled from shelves. Well, the third season of Stranger Things premieres on Netflix on July 4th. The show takes place in the summer of 1985, the same year New Coke was introduced. It was such an important pop culture moment that there is no way the doomed drink could be left out of the season -- and to commemorate, The Coca-Cola Company is re-releasing New Coke in a very limited distribution. Starting today, you can take a sip of ‘80s nostalgia if you go to this link. Who knows? Maybe people will like it this time.

And if you haven't seen the trailer for the new season of Stranger Things, check it out! I love this show!
