After 30 years of BBQ, music, and raising money for charity, Ribfest is retiring.
The announcement came yesterday (Thursday) on the official Ribfest Facebook page.
"As with any great organization, change is inevitable," the organization said in a statement. "St. Petersburg has changed over the years and with it the needs of the community." Fans were left with a little tease of what's to come, "The Northeast Exchange club is dedicated to St. Petersburg. Stay tuned for what is next!" the statement ended with.
