Florida Man donates his 100th gallon of blood!

Usually, when we see "Florida Man" in a headline, we know the story is going to get weird. But here's one I'm proud to say isn't weird at all..it's just AWESOME.

A 62-year-old Florida man has just donated his 100th gallon of blood! David Williams of Leesburg (about halfway between Orlando and Ocala) has been donating blood and platelets for 22 years. He's also an auto mechanic, and donates as often as he is allowed. His donations have affected the lives of countless people, especially cancer patients who rely on transfusions to keep them alive during cancer treatment.

Way to go, David!
