I've never been one for yoga. I love to work out...but I'm more of a weightlifting type. Maybe there's something wrong with me, but any time something is supposed to make me feel relaxed and calm, I end up just feeling anxious. Like, how long do we have to sit here... why is everyone so quiet...I'm not flexible enough to do this pose...I kinda want to get out of here and get some tacos.
Please tell me I'm not alone on that?
Anyway, "Rage yoga" is now a thing, and it sounds right up my alley. It's a yoga class where you're allowed to drink beer, yell, and curse.
One of the instructors says that even though swearing and yelling feel like the OPPOSITE of traditional yoga, it actually has the same end goal, which is to let go of your frustrations and vent in a healthy way.
