An 8-year-old boy in Virginia has decided to do something nice for his mail carrier in this summer heat. He left a cooler full of cold drinks on the front porch for his mail man! This is something any of us can do to spread a little love in our community!
In my neighborhood, there are no mail boxes. it's an older neighborhood, and all of the houses have mail slots in the doors. There are literally no mailboxes by the street, which means the postal workers have to go through the neighborhood on foot to deliver the mail. I always feel bad when it's pouring down rain, or when the temps are over 90, like they have been for the last few days.
What a great idea!
