There will be plenty of fun and games for kids in the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital Kids Interactive Zone. Games include speed pitch, batting cages, and wiffle ball home run derby.
The Rays Charity Yard Sale returns with great Rays memorabilia. All items featured in the 162 Landing area of the Charity Yard Sale will be available for $5 each. Check out the Clubhouse Corner to purchase items dating back to the inaugural season. Proceeds from the yard sale benefit the Rays Baseball Foundation.
The Rays will use their social media accounts to give fans opportunities for team and player interaction through Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat. Fans can also visit the Social Media Zone presented by the Tampa Bay Times for photo opportunities with Rays trophies and awards, players and oversized emojis.
More than 40 former major league players will sign autographs for free throughout the day.
To promote Reading with the Rays, the club’s summer reading program presented by Suncoast Credit Union and supported by the Tampa Bay Times Newspaper in Education, a Rays player will read select stories on the Tampa General Hospital Main Stage.
Kids can join the dance party at the MOR Kids Party Area in Center Field.
Kids and parents are invited to participate in the Sagicor Life Coaches Clinic, instructed by Rays broadcaster and former Major Leaguer Orestes Destrade. Check the Fan Fest program for times and location.
