The Florida Strawberry Festival regrets to announce that Cam has canceled her performance scheduled for this Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
"We were notified today that a film opportunity will prevent Cam from being able to come to the festival," said Florida Strawberry Festival President Paul Davis. "We are are disappointed she won't be here but are happy with the solution we have reached."
Instead of replacing Cam with an alternate show requiring paid tickets, the event's entertainment committee has decided to feature Rev. Calvin "Pee Wee" Callins and Friends from Plant City's Greater New Hope Anointed Ministries. The show will take place on the Wish Farms Soundstage and will be free with paid admission. Rev. Callins is a Plant City native and has performed for the last several year's with his church's choir in the Public Showcase Tent.
Tickets purchased online for Cam's show will be automatically refunded. Tickets purchased over the phone or in person can be refunded by contacting the festival's Amscot Main Ticket Office located at 2209 W. Oak Avenue in Plant City. The ticket office can also be reached at 813-754- 1996.
