Cole originally wrote this song four years ago before he had a record deal. He sent it to Dierks' people hoping that Dierks would want to record it, but never got a response.
Fast forward to today, not only did Dierks like the song, Cole was able to recruit him to sing the song as a duet. Nice work, Cole!
