11-year-old Jude Kofie of Aurora, Colorado found an old keyboard one day, and started playing it. This baffled his family, because they say Jude had never had a single lesson!
Jude is autistic, and says he is "inspired by God" to play. A local piano tuner learned about Jude's talent, and when he saw Jude play, he decided to use some of his own inheritance from his father to purchase a grand piano for Jude! He also promised Jude's family to pay for lessons so Jude can hone his skills.
Jude is able to hear a piece of music once and play it himself. The more we learn about autism, the more we (hopefully) understand that it's not a disability; their brains just work differently. In this case, he's been given an incredible gift! I can't wait to see what this young man accomplishes in the future!
