A new website called Big and Mini is helping young people connect with senior citizens online – in order to help everyone feel a bit less lonely.
Older people are registered as “bigs” and younger people are registered as “minis,” and the website helps makes connections, allowing new friends to chat on video.
Users of the site are finding that they have a lot more in common than they originally thought – despite the age differences. They’re also having fun, making new friends and taking advantage of the chance to connect with someone new.
What a great idea! If you have extra time on your hands, this could be a cool activity to do with your kids!
